CLIENT CARE SPECIALIST - Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of digital medical records, admitting and discharging patients, obtaining medical history, assisting in exam rooms, filling prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and maintenance of hospital and grounds. While the client care specialist is primarily involved with clients, they must also be cross trained and able to handle / restrain patients to assist with procedures including nail trims, blood draws or other treatments. VETERINARY TECHNICIANS - are responsible for assisting the doctors in everything from animal handling and restraint during examinations to performing laboratory procedures utilizing the centrifuge, microscope, and in house lab equipment; obtaining x rays; collecting blood, urine, fecal or other samples; placing intravenous catheters, administering oral and intravenous treatments; surgical room and pack prep; monitoring anesthesia under supervision of the doctor; monitor post operative patients; care and handling of in house patients including isolated patients; filling prescriptions; maintenance of instruments; hospital and grounds maintenance AND the duties listed above for client care specialist. VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT - are responsible for assisting doctors, client care specialists and technicians and provide: animal handling, bathing, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, and maintenance of the hospital and grounds. This is an entry level position and we will consider those without experience for this position. Individuals who do not meet the requirements stated above, need not respond.
